Kate Grondin, MSW Co-Founder and Principal Advisor
Kate is an experienced business owner, senior relocation specialist, professional move manager, home improvement contractor, and real estate agent. Her ability to build strong teams and provide excellent customer service is key to her success, and she has a passion for helping people through life’s major transitions.
Kate has spent much of her professional career serving seniors and their families transitioning from home to retirement or assisted living communities, and was a two-term board member of the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers. She is currently a trustee of The Little Chair Foundation which provides grants to teachers for training and strategies to creating inclusive settings for children. She is a dedicated supporter of the Ellie Fund which provides essential support services to breast cancer patients.
When not working, Kate can be found spending time on various interior design projects, working on her photography skills, and sneaking away to her Maine house. Oh, and she never says “no” to a game of pickle ball!
Jill Penna Co-Founder and Principal Advisor
Jill Penna is the co-founder of Lystable and no stranger to business ownership. For 16 years she owned and operated a tutoring center providing instruction for students of all ages and intellectual abilities. She later joined Home Transition Resource, a move management company, as a founding member of the executive team and a professional move manager. Jill has passion for helping clients navigate their home sales and transitions while decreasing their stress. Building strong relationships and managing projects from conception to completion is what Jill finds most exciting about her role at Lystable.
Jill is a registered home improvement contractor and has extensive experience teaming with vendors to prepare and style homes for the market. She is a former member of National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers. She proudly supports many charities, including The Friends of Dana Farber, Project Home Again, and the Ellie Fund.
Jill’s greatest joy is spending time with her children and 5 grandchildren on Lake Winnipesaukee. She also loves to paint, read and travel, especially to Italy!
Aly Formichella Business Relations Manager
Aly knows that selling a home is one of life's most stressful events and she believes that every seller deserves expert guidance with a focus on closing-table results. As a Business Relations Manager, she continually strives to improve the customer experience by working with vendors, realtors and attorneys, allowing Lystable to have happy clients and strong business relationships. Aly's previous experience as a cherished special education teacher in South Carolina as well as a recruiting staffing consultant here in Boston provides the perfect combination of skills to excel in business relations. Her compassion and patience along with a drive for high performance makes her an invaluable member of our team. When not focusing on Lystable, Aly can be found walking her adorable dog, Louie, playing board games, hanging with her family, and doing anything adventurous: ziplining, roller coasters, ATVing, scuba diving, bull riding (just kidding!) - you name it!
